How to create a QR code

Choose a QR content type, enter the requested information, and click Generate. The tool converts the information into a machine-readable QR payload. A website becomes a URL payload, while a phone number becomes a telephone URI. The QR renderer then encodes the payload into the visual QR pattern.

URL and link QR codes

Select URL / Link and enter an address such as https://digisadhan.com/. The generator automatically adds https:// when a normal domain is entered without a protocol. Always test the final QR code before printing.

Phone number QR codes

Select Phone and enter a number such as +91 98765 43210. The calculator creates a tel: payload so compatible phones can offer a call action after scanning. Spaces and common phone formatting characters are safely handled.

Text QR codes

Select Text when you want to encode ordinary words, instructions, short messages or other plain information. Long text produces denser QR codes, so keep a comfortable size and test readability.

WhatsApp, SMS and email

WhatsApp creates a wa.me chat link with an optional prefilled message. SMS creates an SMSTO payload. Email creates a mailto payload containing the recipient, subject and message. Actual behavior depends on the scanner device and installed applications.

WiFi and vCard

WiFi mode encodes the network name, password and security type. vCard creates a contact record containing details such as name, organization, phone and email. Test contact import on the devices you expect visitors to use.

Customization and error correction

Use a dark foreground and light background for strong contrast. Higher error correction can help when a modest logo is placed in the center, but excessive decoration can still make a QR unreliable. Always test the exported image at its final printed or displayed size.

Static QR and privacy

This is a static browser-based QR generator. It does not provide server-side dynamic redirects or scan analytics. The core QR payload is generated in the browser. Do not encode confidential information unless you are comfortable with the privacy implications of the information you enter.
